10 Famous Songs That You Didn't Know Were About Your Favourite Celebs
Being a celebrity has its own perks and drawbacks. Apart from all the fame and money you are also always in with the cool kids. But the cool kids don't always play nice. If you're thinking about having a relationship with a famous singer you can count on your name coming up in a song.
This was the most succesful song on a popular back and forth between these two artists. The story goes that Eminem claimed that he and Mariah were an item, for "a good six, seven months". The lyrical dissing began on Mariah's insistence that they weren't, in fact, a couple.
Eminem referenced the star twice on his album The Eminem Show, Mariah threw it back to Mathers with a mention on 'Clown' with the lyrics - "should've left it at 'I like your music too'", Eminem played alleged voicemail messages from Mariah on his Anger Management tour and, eventually, Mariah released Obsessed. The video featured Mariah Carey dressed up as Eminem following Mariah around.
The final track was released by Eminem called 'The Warning'. Since then Mariah Carey has dropped the issue altogether.

Inspiration: Selena Gomez
The on-again off-again relationship between the two pop heavyweights (current status: on) has resulted in a whole lot of speculation. We have scoured albums by both artists for any coded lyrics and hints. But we can all stop wondering for a while, because Biebs himself revealed to Ellen DeGeneres that 'What Do You Mean', 'Mark My Words' and a "little bit" of 'Sorry' were about Selena.
With Selena's next album coming up and her recently ending it with the Weeknd we can only wonder what is in store for our favourite love-hate couple.

6. Gwen Stefani - Hollaback Girl
Inspiration: Courtney Love
We could make a completely new list just about the number of songs about Courtney Love. This particular song came from Courtney dissing Gwen in an interview with Seventeen magazine, Courtney said: "Being famous is just like being in high school. But I'm not interested in being the cheerleader. I'm not interested in being Gwen Stefani. She's the cheerleader, and I'm out in the smoker shed."
While we don't advocate trash talking, this fight scored Gwen a UK Top 10. Well, she ain't complaining.

Inspiration: Katy Perry
Taylor Swift is back! All of her songs are about 'someone', so she was bound to show up again. But the Katy Perry and Taylor Swift feud truly got out of hand when the Bad Blood video was released. Everyone was taking sides, you were either in or out.

Ouch.

While Jonas responded to the allegations with, "I think it’s funny. Honestly, I’m not insecure, my friends are cool—so it can’t be about me!" According to Tiger Beat magazine, when Cyrus' best friend Mandy Jiroux was asked if "7 Things" was about Jonas; she responded, "yes".
